Climbing is divided into 5 types

the people with courage and a very high confidence may engage in rock climbing and mountain climbing. with the safe use of equipment of course. and do not
1.

Bouldering
Climbing without using special equipment with a maximum height of 5 meters. Climbing is done as a warm-up for climbing on high lebh terrain.

Aid Climbing / Climbing Artifical (Direct Aid Climbing)
Rock climbing is done using a tool as complete

Climbing Bigwall (Indireck Aid Climbing)
Climbing by using a tool or not with a maximum height of 5 meters.

Free Climbing
Climbing with the use of safety devices potluck.

Free soloing is climbing is usually done by a master-master climbing because it requires more knowledge of climbing and the climbing is done without any security at all on the high cliffs

Physical Exercise  before doing the climbing.

A climber is usually warm up first before doing the climbing. Physical exercise is usually performed include:
1) Push up
(100x min at a time), its usefulness is to train the fingers to be stronger in the holding point.
2) Full up (min 15x in one time), its usefulness is to train the hand muscles.
3) Sit up (min 75x in one time),
usefulness is to train the abdominal muscles.
4) Run their role to train the legs to avoid cramping when climbing
5) Jumping jack.

Climbing equipment
Strap divided into 2 types:
1.      Natural fiber rope (rope Dadung) and
2.      synthetic fiber rope

Synthetic fiber rope be divided by 2 is
a. Hau serlaid rope (made of nylon)
b. Kern mantle rope, the rope is divided into two parts, namely the coat is usually a part is made of special fabric and a core part of this section is generally made from nylon fibers.

Kern mantle rope there are three types:
a. Dynamic, flexible rope with a tensile strength of about 30% is used for climbimg
b. Static, the rope is less flexible and tensile strength of about 15% is used for rappelling.
c. Semi, tensile strength between the dynamic and static can be used for climbing and rappelling.

How to care a rope
1. Keep the straps do not get too much sun
2. Keep the rope should not be rubbed against a sharp object
3. Wash and dry the rope in a place not too hot
4. When it is dry rubbed with wax cord

Things that can damage the rope
1. Rubbed against a sharp object
2. Too much sun exposure
3. Improper usage, eg: dynamic ropes used for rappeling

2) carabiner
Climber's carabiner is the safety of plugging in the form of a hook ring raner with climbers mounted on the body harness.

Carabiner materials:
1. Iron Steel
2. Mixture of aluminum

Pinti carabiner types:
1 . using locks (screw gate,), carabiner type is more secure but harder to be installed or removed
2. Without the key, the carabiner is easier to be installed and removed, but its safety screw gate carabiner does not like.
3. That is a safety harness worn by the climber
Kind, namely:
-Sit harness
-Full boby (body harness)

4)  Slink the combiner carabiner strap
Slink there are two kinds:

a.  Slink a tape can be used to connect carabiner
b.  slink prusik

5) raner
Raner the joint between the carabiner and Slink

6) Climbing Shoes
Climbing shoes are usually made of raw rubber, the front of the shoe is more hard rock climber so that the foot does not hurt.

7) Webing
Webing normally used for safety harness replacement body climber that is generally made of nylon.
Holding capacity of approximately 4000 pounds and the power of arrest hanging from the noose.

8) Piton, typically used when climbing natural substitute for its function as a safety climbing raner used on boulders.

9) Cok
Cok a variety of shapes, including rectangular and square shapes of six. A rectangular shape the length of ½ cm-1 ½ inches mounted on blocks of rock, hexagons size 2cm-5cm in length. Choke rope made of steel. The advantage of using the choke as raner ditebing boulders are removable again by using the opening tool.

10) Figure of Eight Used in biley / rappelin

11) Glops
Gloves worn by biley / rappeling to avoid direct friction to the rope.

12) Helmet
Helmet use as protective headgear climber

13) Chock Bag
Used as packaging Chock (magnesium) that function to the hands and feet so as not to climb the slippery SSAT.

14) Stick Plan
Used as duscander to descend the cliff is generally made of aluminum

15) Rock slingshot
In ancient times often used to package a climbing equipment, but now it is not used because it has been found to harness for carrying climbing equipment.

16) Ascander
Ascander used to go up in the air (not on the cliff) can also be used to climb the cliff vertical position.

17) Discander
Discander used to go down by using a rope instead of the cliff.

18) Pulley
Pulleys used for lifting equipment under the summit of the cliff, shaped like a small pulley and made of a mixture of concrete and aluminum.

ENGINEERING climbing
A. Categories based on the surface of the rock climbing
Face climbing
Climbing Fristion
Climbing fissure

B. Pedestal
Pedestal hand
Footstool

C. Motion
1. path selection
2. balance and coordination
3. adjustment of the body of the pedestal
4. energy savings and the rest
5. Traversing
6. janning, crack climbing, cinney
7. mantlehelp
8. 'V' and operhang
9. climbing down
